The Envy Corps - 'Party Dress'

'Party Dress' is probably one of my favorite cuts off of The Envy Corps' Dwell. The Iowa-based band has been compared to Modest Mouse, but this track comes out on the Radiohead side of things.

The Envy Corps - 'Wire and Wool'

You may recall my previous post on Iowa band The Envy Corps. This time I present you the video to their newest single entitled 'Wire and Wool.' The song starts off really slow, but transforms into a funky jam later on.

On a side note, what is up with lead singer Luke Pettipoole sporting the Mark David Chapman look?

The Envy Corps - 'Rhinemaidens'

The Envy Corps hail from Ames, Iowa and recently opened up for The Killers during their Val Air Show last week. The band definitely channels the same indie vibe that put Modest Mouse on the map, and they were recently signed to Mercury Records imprint Vertigo.
