System and Volta Tour Dates Unveiled

System of a Down and Mars Volta have announced their joint tour dates. Kicking off in mid-September, the ten-date joint venture will wrap up at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon, October 6.

Now I don't know about you guys, but I think it would be pretty sweet for Mars Volta and Thirty Seconds to Mars to tour together under the banner THE RED PLANET TOUR. Wonk, Wonk!

Sept. 19: Calgary (Pengrowth Saddledome)
Sept. 20: Edmonton (Rexall Arena)
Sept. 22: Winnipeg, Manitoba (MTS Centre)
Sept. 23: Minneapolis (Xcel Center)
Sept. 29: Detroit (Joe Louis Arena)
Sept. 30: Chicago (Allstate Arena)
Oct. 2: Denver (Pepsi Coliseum)
